Backtrace is an advanced crash aggregation platform for every major native software platform. It automatically captures the data necessary to help triage and fix bugs.
Backtrace supports core dumps, live processes, minidump and includes out-of-the-box support for open-source crash reporting libraries such as Breakpad and its successor Crashpad. These high quality libraries have been used on thousands of titles and popular software such as Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Our automated debuggers for UNIX automatically intercept process crashes across environments or can be invoked manually on faulting applications. These will do automated analysis on program state, extract variables and highlight errors with great detail ranging from memory corruption (such as allocator misuse), to security issues and more. There is no run-time cost to the application.
